He doesn't in my strong opinion OP. This is all about timing. Jimbo to A&M should in no way be looked at as a slight towards LSU

I disagree. This is as much, if not more, about the incompetence of Joe Alleva and fricking Retard King Alexander.

Exactly. If someone is dumb enough to pay that for a 9-3 coach then go for it. Absolutely would've been outrage if we had offered him a 10 year contract for that kind of money. I guess desperate programs feel the need to do that but I'd have to think they could've gotten a better coach much cheaper

LSU had him for a cheaper price albeit not much but the timing got fricked by the higher ups.. Throw in more money and an exit strategy from what seems to be a tenuous relationship and A&M got their man..

Goes to show most college coaches have no allegiance to the school. It is a job, plain and f'ing simple. Aggies were tired of being 2nd fiddle to UT, fundraising has gone through the roof, and now they need a proven winner as a coach. Nothing to do with Jimbo not "wanting" LSU. Aggies are gloating so hard right now, as if they have already beat us next year. When they are ready to fire ol Jimbo, Sexton will make sure they pay through the nose......

I didn't mean to imply that Alleva and F King did not make mistakes. I was just answering the OP's question about Jimbo looking at A&M as a more desirable job than LSU. This is all about timing imho.

At A&M, he will not have to be involved with LSU's version of Abbott and Costello, known locally as Alleva and F. King.

I'm sorry, but do you guys hear something? Seems like some little kid is banging on the window begging to be heard.

Sorry, son, but you're not allowed here. For adults and big kids only. The University of Losers at Lafayette is in the distant corner of the Internet. Get lost.

If I ever completely base my self-worth on a sports team like this, can someone please promise to shoot me?

This is the dumbest mentality. Besides this year, look at the guys record at FSU.

What coach is available with his type of record not named Saban or Meyer? None

Whats a fair price for Fisher?
