Report: Baton Rouge residents' mail found tossed in the trash
LINK
BATON ROUGE -- Residents in a Baton Rouge neighborhood are looking for answers after finding their mail tossed in a dumpster according to our partners at WBRZ.
quote:
The dumpster Joyce is talking about is one that contained a full bin of undelivered mail.
Some letters contained bank statements, bills and other important information. The mail was discovered by the Goodwood Property Owners Association's former president.
He said he was instructed not to talk to the media by post office officials after he took the mail bin to them. He has since removed the photos he posted online.
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds

You know what mailmen say, "I can either go to 600 houses a day, or one dumpster."

Same thing happened in River Ridge last week. Several bins of mail were found disposed of by a canal

Anybody who can spend several decades sitting in a truck opening mailboxes all day is not someone I want working for me. Mail delivery people (not UPS or FedEx) are essentially the people with zero aspirations in life.

I admit, back in college Pizza Hut offered me $50 if I’d go put coupons in peoples’ mailboxes. I went down one street and after that I was like, “frick this” — went back to my dorm and took a nap for a few hours, then went back and acted like I had run out of coupons. I told the manager, “I was halfway down the last street and I ran out... do you have like 15 more?” He was like, “Don’t worry about it, you’ve done enough”. and gave me 50 bucks. Ironically enough I spent it all that night on you guessed it, Pizza (at West Main)

What are they going to do? Not deliver the mail?
