His short game is going to suck and he won't have (tour) accurate numbers on his irons.

All I'm hoping for is a healthy Tiger at the end of the weekend. If he's still healthy after the Masters, I'll say he's back and ready to start competing again. He won't do anything that resembles his old self before then.

Read where he played with DJ, Reed, and GEOTUS, over the weekend and had a few drives longer than DJ.

Have you looked at the field for this event? He could play great and finish last.

I’m headed out to watch this tournament Thursday. I haven’t told my wife and probably won’t tell her that I’m even there.

She’ll probably text my friends the entire time asking where I am or if they know that I’m even alive.

When I come back I won’t even talk to any of those people anymore.

I’d bet his short game is on point. He hasn’t been able to make full swings for awhile but I bet he was practicing his short game on the low while he was hurt.

Same here. At this point, thats the hardest thing for him to do though.

It's going to be a complete repeat of last year:
Tiger comes back for a tournament at a course he owns, at his tournament, and makes one birdie(first birdie in over a year). All the Tiger fans will go nuts.... then he will start playing like trash, blame his back, and end up almost dead last. It will be an exact repeat of last year.

One birdie? Didn’t he have the most birdies in the tournament?

I get being skeptical. I am too. But no reason to pretend that there’s not ability in there somewhere.

Short game is the hardest thing to practice with an injured back. He admitted as such.

He led the field in birdies last year, and this seems like a much different, improved, player from last year.
