The AG's office is investigating, the mayor of New Orleans would be a helluva skin on the wall for Jeff Landry if he wants to beat JBE

Only if there's no political, personal and legal risk to him and his family and there's no chance of his own dirty laundry being aired.

You just don't go after powerful Louisiana politicians like the fricking Nola mayor and not come away clean.

it becomes an embarrassment to the city. And no way she does the right thing and bows out and goes away, she going to drag the city, city lawyers, etc through the mud.

She's probably the least connected mayor of New Orleans in the past 100 years

I hope you're right.

New Orleans is practically the engine of Louisiana's economy and we do not need ignorant morons like Cantrell fricking it up even more after the absolute number Mitch Landreiu did the last 8 years.
