Can we stop ignoring that Brees is declining rapidly?

3rd and 14, Ginn wide open, just did not have the arm to make the throw. Tough to watch. That is a gimme first down for a competent arm

He looks bad. I don't know if anyone has noticed but his deep throws come out ugly an wobbly and are up for grabs everytime. Either he needs to hit the weights or we need a new QB pronto

He’s just sucks in the Coliseum.

Wasn’t that good versus SC back in ‘98.

Isn't it crazy when a QB looks bad when he gets no protection and receivers don't get open?

Brees is not declining, man, he's just typical Brees. When he's bad he's bad, making terrible decisions and throwing passes that he shouldn't.

I'll just say a former SB winning WR personally told me he was done a few years after SB. And that Saints then should have kept Daniels before going to KC because he was VERY smart player so idk where that stand now though

I noticed his declining arm strength last year. It's okay. His arm can't last forever. People act like it's a sin to point it out.

Goff underthrew Watkins and caused an interception. Goff is declining rapidly.

Lack of talent at WR and a meh OL. Tough game for him today. Defense sucked, Offense sucked.

Um, he's still the league leader in completion percentage by a wide margin.

He doesn't have to carry the team by himself now that he has a two-headed monster at RB and a competent defense that frees him from having to play catch-up.

As good as our run blocking has been, our pass blocking has been really really sub par. Brees hasn’t been comfutable all year on 3-5 step drops.

He can make poor throws, even if they are under thrown; it doesn’t mean his arm strength is bad. I’ve seen too many great throws this year. You guys are going to have to go further than the surface. Stop being lazy K?

He was awful today - missed a couple of throws I've never seen him miss.

Outplayed by Goff, Cousins, Brady and Bradford.

He is definitely declining but is still a viable QB. He is simply not one that any make up for an underperforming OL.

His arm is weaker and his decision-making is a half second slower. It happens to the best of them. OL did him no favors this game though.
