So at $110.3 billion, Bezos could spend $1 million a day for 302 years and he would still have $70 million left if he didn’t invest or earn a single penny on that
If he invested all $110.3 billion and earned just 2% a year on that investment, he would make $2.206 billion in interest. That means he could spend $6 million a day, every day of the year, and he would still clear $16 million for the year.

Cool Story Bro. When Bezos was first starting out, I had a family member that worked directly for him as his VP of Business Development. The whole family was at a pre-Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant in town and Bezos called him about a business deal. He got up and left the table to take the call and talked to Bezos for maybe 15 mins. At the end of the call he mentioned that he was at the family dinner and Bezos asked where we were eating. I guess he felt bad for pulling him away from the table because Bezos called the restaurant and picked up the entire meal plus he sent out a half dozen bottles of Dom Perignon. I thought that was pretty Baller. I had no clue who he was at the time.
