Do you ever read the rant?

The answer is simply, he will never win some over. The sad truth is that some people here would rather LSU lose to see O fired, to be able to say they were correct, rather than LSU be really successful.

The verdict is still out because it was a down year in the sec, but that aurburn win looked nice.

Honestly, given the state of the SEC, he has underperformed this season.

He has earned enough of my respect to give him the benefit of doubt going into next season. We will have to see how it plays out.

a season with possibly 5 SEC coaches getting fired is not a good one to gauge your new coach with

Coach O won the fan base as a whole over a long time ago. The rant does NOT represent the fan base as a whole. This bunch of idiots think they know a lot more than they do. The fan base "as a whole" still loves Coach O.

When he does what Miles couldn’t do, I will be won over.

Had he not had the Troy debacle i think he would have. Losses like that will always bring on the detractors.

LSU has to have a play making QB and passing game next year or he will be judged harshly. But all things considered with Etling and all the injuries this year, LSU is in the top 20 and looking pretty good for this year.

O not playing Brennan is really pissing folks off. There is absolutely no reason to not give him snaps.

He had me before he lost to Troy. That is unacceptable. The only way he can win me back is to beat Bama and win the SEC. Until then #frickHim

He's winning the national media over. Every story on him is how he turned the program around after the Troy game and how he isn't repeating his OM days.

Yes. Everywhere except the rant. In general, Tiger fans love Coach O.

Everyone is happy we have won 8 games. (Especially after the Troy loss) But the losses to Troy and getting blown out by Moo State does not win anyone over.

Further the CEO structure isn’t one that bodes well for long term success.

An unprecedented in the history of college football meeting between the AD, HC and Coordinators is, again not a sign of a good management structure.

Add to that while you can only play the teams on the schedule, we have played 3 teams that have already fired their coaches, 2 others that may.

And rumored friction between O and Canada so severe that some believe Canada will leave at the end of the year and we will need a new OC.

An offense next year with perhaps 3 new starters on the OL, an inexperienced QB, inexperienced RB and inexperienced WR.

This year may be the high water mark for O.
