I fished the bend for 3 days and we caught about 80 bass but all small. The biggest was about 3lbs. Cold as a mother on Friday. We saw lots of ducks on Friday but very little Saturday and hardly any on Sunday.

What did you do?

Duck hunted Toledo Sat/Sun.

I'd post a pic, but I don't want to get banned for putting up a picture with my dick in my hand.

Great morning in stand on Saturday, saw lots of deer, good little breeze in our face. Son wore me down enough that I let him shoot a spike around 8:30. I really wanted him to hold out till next week, but we had a ball...he made the right choice

Was in Illinois all last week. Had the biggest buck I've ever seen while hunting at 20 yards and I put a terrible shot on it. Had a dog get out there and no luck. I think it ended up being a non-lethal shot.

Went to Two O'clock Bayou during the week in the yak. That is a beautiful place. It was like paddling through a painting.

I don't know how many fish I caught. Quite a few dinks, choupique, and garfish. But I ended up keeping my limit along with a goggle eye. I think my biggest fish was 15 inches long. Most were about 12. I ended up having to keep a couple smaller than that cause I gut hooked em. Oh well. They were still fun to catch.

I estimate that I paddled over 8 miles that day.

GoPro video

Me and Homey went back there in his boat on Saturday afternoon and it was like a completely different place. We caught 3 little fish and hooked about a 6-8 lbs choupique. It was still nice to be out there though. Very serene.

Ducks killed. Few fish caught. High level of rum induced inebriation.

I’d call it a success.

Deer hunted Saturday morning, evening, and Sunday morning.

I didn't see anything and my son saw only 1 which was the 6 point he shot. We had to get a tracking dog to find the deer.

We filled feeders and baited up all the stands with rice bran for next weekend. The solar lunar tables say this Saturday will be the best day of the month and the weather looks perfect.

Worked the weekend, but went Thursday to Sabine River and caught a pile of bass, kept our 20 all between 11-14 inches, 3 reds, and 2 stripers. Threw back several 2+ pounders and a couple around 3 pounds. Had a blast, and my buddy had never caught a red before and he caught all three!

Had a club tourney out of Bayside yesterday

1st - Partner didn't wake up on time making us leave 20 minutes late

2nd - Got to the launch to find out I had a blowout along the way (tandem axle trailer, didn't feel a thing). Launched an hour later than blastoff

Caught a limit with the biggest being about 2#'s or so.

3rd - Go to leave with 1.5hrs left before weigh in and the cranking battery died.

Played battery shuffle to find one that would allow us to crank up, went back to launch, threw fish back and put it on the trailer

19 on saturday, should have easily had 24 but bad shooting early screwed us up. Faces redacted to protect the innocent since I was the picture taker. Killed 24 on Sunday morning.

Had an old buddy from the navy come to town. He's from NYC and wanted to get into some deer hunting. Spent 8hrs in a 2 man ladder stand Friday. It was 0 degrees with the wind chill (central Minnesota) so he got to see if deer hunting was really for him or not. Didn't see a thing. He got up on his own and went to the stand Saturday morning. Had 3 does come in and he actually got to take his first deer. He couldn't have been more excited. Was a pretty good Veterans Day for us.
