He still misses far too many easy throws. You can’t argue that. He is a good tiger though, and does not deserve to be placed in the same category as JJ, Harris, and Jennings.

That is not espn rankings that a stat column.
Other QBs have far far more attempts. Etlings stats are limited by design because he isn't a top 20 QB..

People hate Etling because he is the ultimate game manager. He won't kill you with multiple interceptions and risky mistakes. But on the flip side most of the time he won't make a huge play on his own to win a game either. I can live that for now when you consider where we were at the QB position the last few years.

He Ranks 115th in ATTs and COMPs.
LSU has not broken the Top 100 since 2007.

It’s not really a ranking as far as a statistical category that is going to skew heavy in in the favor of a QB who ONLY throws to WIDE open WRs and gets a lot of deep balls.
Danny Etling isn’t a great quarterback because Chark can get 5-15 yards of separation.

I agree that he is top 20...until you watch him play. Sorry, but he is not so good...at all.
