At the Heymann center. People are going off on Facebook and 99.9 even wrote an article. Shame on these people because it will make acts like him not want to come back. The Heymann is a perfect place for music like his or Ben Howard or Bob Iver.

Also heard someone threw a beer at Alan Jackson Friday night in the cajundome.

That article says absolutely nothing about what happened. I wanted to go see him with my fiancée but we ended up deciding against it. Saw him at the Saenger in NOLA last time he was in the state and he was great. Put on an awesome show even with a hoarse voice.

I was in the pit for the whole show and never saw that happen. Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see it.

So what the hell happened?

The article doesn't say anything.

Are people not allowed to talk and make noise at a concert? Should we all just sit quietly?

I was at the show and that shite is being totally overblown, one of the people quoted in the article even says they weren't there.

The opener could barely be heard in the balcony, when he spoke he was inaudible, people were still getting to their seats, partly due to shitty service for drinks, a wait for a drink was 45 minutes.

The talkers and noise makers were few and fair between, most times the only reason they were noticed was someone loudly "shhhing" them, drawing attention, and even still I only heard that twice. Cell phones were even at a minimum and even when someone pulled one out an usher quickly shut them down.

As fair as the show, it sucked. Probably the unpopular opinion but it was a snoozefest, and I read that it would be that way after I bought tickets but still was worse than I imagined. If that's your thing, cool, but acknowledge that it was boring.

TLDR: people are tits, RL is boring.

I was there and the crowd seemed fine. I did hear the usher shushing people that I couldn't even hear talking. A lot of people left early because the show sucked. Lines for drinks were long and didn't seem to be moving. I wasn't able to get a drink because they shut it down really early. I usually enjoy any live music but I couldn't wait to get out of there.

The person who wrote that long drawn out article that basically rambled and repeated the same sentiment 45 times sounds like a person who I would hate to ever have a conversation with.

Why isn't Laffy sticking to its bread and butter with acts like Skid Row at the Cajundome?

Didn’t G&R have some problems at the Cajun Dome a few years back? What was that? Or was that someone else?
