So we get Georgia and the Alafrickers get Missouri. Makes you wonder who the SEC is setting up once again for another title.

On the bright side, having Florida as our permanent East partner isn't looking too bad for the next couple of years.

I’d rather lose to Miami or UGA than Troy

The point of the post is that Bama has another soft SEC East opponent.

Once upon a time, LSU beat the Bulldogs in Tiger Stadium on thw way to a national championship.
Might happen again....

This years schedule looked tough at this time last year. Now, not so much.

Brutal schedules are good, especially when you get the meat of the schedule at home. It'll be a fun year if the offense continues to progress and the defense reloads.

Well, can you name a team other than Georgia in the east that isn't soft? There isn't a whole lot to pick from over there, but that wouldn't fit this agenda that you're currently trying to push. The schedule is what it is and there's nothing anyone can do about it. The fact remains that if LSU takes care of its own business it doesn't make a frick what Bama's schedule looks like. Stop obsessing over this crap.

Ever heard of South Carolina? Missouri is a bottom dweller. LSU will have the hardest schedule in the country for 2018. Go check out our strength of schedule compared to Bama over the last 5 years and get back with me.

We also played the 2 time defending SEC East champ the last 2 years. Do you realize with a four team playoff system you are not rewarded playing the hardest schedule in the country. There is a great chance we could play 3 of the 4 playoff teams next year.

Considering how well this team had played the last month, I’m not even intimidated by UGA a little bit. Esp at home.

Call me an optimist but it’s hard for me not to think this team is trending up big time. Our D will be nasty next year and if we can get some guys to step up on O (QB, WR1, RB1), watch out.

"Manipulation" of the SEC schedule, is no longer possible by the SEC office. The last time the bama grad {McWorter} was able to work his magic for his alma mater was during the initial set up of the expanded sec...i.e. the infamous bridge schedules...you know, when bamas next up East opponent, GA....was mysteriously replace with KY...lol

Tigers should quit scheduling teams like Troy and McNeese and UT Chattanooga and UAB. These games do nothing to improve the strength of schedule, and a loss to one of these is a source of embarrassment that reverberates across the land for a long, long time. It's much better that the schedule includes 4 NC games against Power 5 conference opponents, or respected independents, or at least big name schools (New Mexico, Utah St., Memphis, etc.)
