Nah, I think some Turks got really bored and lugged a bunch of timber up a mountain and built an Ark that just happened to be the same size as the one detailed in the Bible.

It's not that unreasonable to think that a guy in the stone age built a huge boat, lured two of every species of animal on earth on that boat, fed them and kept them alive for 6 weeks.

It makes sense if you don't think about it.
