Look for later release of season 3 and their is talk they will film 3 and 4 back to back with 4 ending it.

I'm guessing Billy dies season 3

Makes sense if they don't want too much of a time jump between seasons considering the age of the younger actors.

Just finished. Loved the ending. The dance scene was very sweet. Then they flipped to the upsidedown and I was like goddammit.

I do have a question about **spoilers**

and I'm sorry if this has been covered already in the thread. But, when they exorcise the shadow monster out of will, it just kind of flies off... so is there still a shadow monster presence in the real world, or did that die when 11 sealed the gate?

And did anyone else get a Kiefer Sutherland Lost Boys vibe off of Billy?

eta: Also, I guess Matthew Modine's character will be returning? The fat guy in the 11 only episode said he was still alive.

Not really. Jane was in hiding because Hooper thought that would be the safetest thing for her. Which makes complete sense. Ep. 7 is where Jane learns to use anger as a source for her powers. Without that she can't close the gate to the upside down. It seems like you completely forgot the fact that she was sucked into the upside after confronting a demogorgon for the first time in S1.

if they go off of the anime that the Stranger Things rips off, things could get pretty interesting

the show needs higher stakes. everyone is too safe, only obvious throwaway characters are in any danger.

Steve should have died.

It was right there too. They built up him protecting and caring about the boys. He was getting left behind by Nancy who didn't really love him whereas he was head over heels in love with her. The sympathy was there.

Then in the tunnels the demodogs are coming and the boys have to get out or die. Dustin is last, and Steve pushes him through the hole just as one chomps his leg and drags him off to wherever they were running to.

I would have lost a lot of money betting on Steve dying once they hatched the plan to go into the tunnels and light the central nest on fire.

I like him very much but he may be the best option if they need an impactful death. The Duffer Brothers won't be forgiven if one of those kids die
