Does anybody else tip ugly waitresses more $ than hot ones?

I generally just tip 20% across the board regardless of looks or gender unless the service is spectacular or shitty then I adjust accordingly. 20% is easy to figure out in my head on the fly.

Yeah and when I'm at the titty palace, I pick the most haggard looking, 50 yr old stripper to blow me as well.

I've tipped 40 on 70 for amazing service at Zorbas.

I tip based on service and personality. If you are hot and I think you are being fake you are getting 15%. Hooters chicks are the worst when it comes to being fake. I can tell if you are generally just cool or not.

These days I don't even tip based on service. Just a blanket 15-20% regardless of everything else. Encouraging those bad servers

One thing I read here and that I need to start considering is tipping based on pre-tax, usually just look at the total amount and do a quick mental calculation.

yep usually 20-30% depending. usually closer to 30, sometimes 50-100% if i frequent the place a lot and get the same server or know the person

Seriously, there was a certain place we would go eat for lunch.. At least once a week, sometimes more.

All the waitresses were usually college aged, but one day this woman who was probably at least 15 years older than the rest of the staff, waited on us. She wasn't dog ugly, she looked okay but talked like a heavy smoker so... I am sure she wasn't a preferred waitress. Anyway, of been one of those days where I was tipping in cash and because I didn't have change, I left a relatively bigger tip than expected..

Well after that day, when we would go there she would always come flirt with me and try to work out to where we would sit at her table and the girl sitting us would always blackball her..

I tip with regards to quality of service but extra bucks for hot waitresses
