Nothing will be "unleashed" against Bama . We will be lucky to score 10 points .

Not going to happen!!

McMillan didn't look too impressive on that wildcat he ran. Lost 3 yards!!

We're not beating Bama with a gimmick package.

First off, I doubt this "secret package" ever gets unleashed. Secondly, a package of plays such as these can be successful against Alabama. Saban is the master of preparation. He will have his players ready for any & everything that is already on film. Now what happens when there is no film to prepare for? It would take time for Saban & his staff to make adjustments in the game. By the time that happens, several scoring drives may have occurred already. Only a fool would say that this wouldn't work.

At the rate Etling has been getting hit it’s only a matter of time before he gets hurt, and it will likely be against Bama. So JM getting some playing time might not be totally far fetched. Being “unleashed” though? Doubtful.

We saw McMillan get in on one play this season. I doubt the purpose was solely for the circumstances of that game. It had to be to give him a chance to run a play during a game in preparation for a future game.

I believed then and now that the future game is Bama. He will play on one down, but no more than 2. But he certainly won't be "unleashed"

Hopefully that play was some kind of window dressing. Giving future opponents something to put in their memory banks. Then throw an unexpected pass off that formation. Possibly a jet sweep fake with McMillian running up the middle. Yeah, wishful thinking on my part. Whatever happens, we will see if Canada can game plan for bama.

May as well go for it. Etling has been running on 30% of his plays anyway.

He's an average athlete. Bama would wreck him

Saban is a great coach, but he is not omniscient.
For the first time in a long time, he will have to prepare differently for LSU and will not be able to anticipate everything.
Canada has done an excellent job of preparing an offense which is not predictable.
That McMillian could be part of the plan is not unthinkable by any means.

I may be a minority , because t I hate the wildcat package unless you actually have a threat of throwing out of it. I don’t see the benefit if the defense knows it’s 100% run?

It's a numbers game. If the QB runs, there are 10 blockers. If he hands off there are 9 blockers. That's the benefit of the wildcat or any running QB play.

A throwing threat makes it even more dangerous.
