My wife irons my clothes every morning, packs my lunch daily, pays every bill on time, and makes a six figure salary. I couldn't tell you where the vacuum is or how to start the washer. She washes, folds and puts up my clothes every week.

When I was dating in college I looked at every girl's level of craziness and how clean their home was. I picked the best one. The trick is to not get serious with stupid, selfish bitches.

To be fair I wouldn't do Japanese laundry either. Won't a dryer shrink silk? And how do y'all clean those wooden sandals? With a toothbrush?

So she works and cooks every day for the entire house...that sounds pretty un-lazy to me.

If you have a job that can support your family, hire a maid and a maybe a chef and stop bitching and get along with your wife who is sacrificing a lot for you and getting treated like shite and is not being respected #geauxtigers
Calm down woman! I don't treat my wife like shite nor do I say anything about her not doing any housework (usually). But...she can certainly do a whole hell of a lot more that what she's doing.

Why aren't your kids helping out with the housework?

She is in her 50s? Could she maybe be exhausted cause she is going through menopause?

I wish I had time to be lazy. Let's see today I got up at 5, made breakfast for family, got dressed and ready for work, got both kids ready for school, packed their snacks, brought them to school, worked all day, picked up kids, went to grocery store, made 2 cakes for husband's clients, workout out, helped kids with homework, cooked dinner, cleaned dishes, fed kids, bathed kids, put kids to bed, paid bills, and now folding two loads of laundry.

Lazy when it comes to housework. Very motivated regarding her job.

Mine is the opposite. I'd fire her if she was my employee, but she's basically the only thing keeping me and the kids from dying.

I used to try to do house work like washing dishes and doing laundry after work. Now days, it's whenever I get around to it. But i'm also involved in community projects and we still go out on the weekends, so i'm not totally lazy. I quit obsessing about the house and now wait until the day before ppl are coming over to have a mad dash panicky house cleaning done in time. Mriluv cooks, and does dishes when i don't feel like it. He helps on mad dash house cleaning day by sweeping and cleaning the guest bath. I hired a yardman, which saved us many arguments. If your wife works full time, cut her some slack.

Not much. Within acceptable limits being that she's 52. She's Japanese so most Japanese women don't turn into small trucks like 'Mericans do.

You sound like most my girlfriends except they are married and their husbands are worthless. Makes me wonder why they are married.

Like I said before, I don't usually bitch at her about it but I get irritated as frick sometimes when I see her sprawled out on the couch with her face in her phone while I'm washing the dishes, folding clothes, taking out the trash, etc...
