always loved this cliche´ advice.

"make sure you marry a good one bro"

It's not great advice but I'm not sure what else to say. I don't think you should go searching for someone to marry. Too many dudes get married because they think it's just a part of life. A lot of dudes would be much happier single.

If you find someone who might be worth it then try dating them for a long time and hold off on marriage until you have a good reason for it.

Date them for four years before thinking about marriage.

I don’t like a dirty sink. I clean my stuff as I cook and immediately after usage. Start throwing a few of her used dishes away. Cheap spoon or bowl. Nothing fancy right away. That’s what I did. Dick move, but it worked.

Also with kids, we now use a shite load of paper plates...so really we both won.

Had a 5 year and 3 year relationship before hopping on the single wagon for awhile now.

Finding it very hard to want to invest that kinda time into a brawd again.

Never say never though.

Yea it's the damn millenials, not the guy who raised them.

This guy raised kids as beta as him.

That's a stretch. I'll stick with the she's lazy premise.

She treats you like a butler. And couldn't give a shite what you think about it.

These are the reasons you should always be ready for the open market. Your market value is low or she wouldn't treat you this way. You're stuck. She knows no one else wants your arse.

Never been married but I feel like I would be able to communicate this without "hurting her feelings" I can't see marrying someone where I couldn't jokingly motivate them and other way around

That's what I thought. My brothers and I did it all in regards to housework growing up and I assumed my kids would be the same. But they are not much into the house cleaning thing. The wife and I dropped the ball in this arena for sure.

I know the feels Bro

Woman can be some disgusting creatures.... I’ve been in girls I’ve dated’s house and it’s clean as can be.... open a door to a room and it’s like a bomb literally went off in in.... I don’t get how they can live that way.

I may be simple and have few things that are all easy to keep neat, but my shite stays picked up. I don’t get dirty people.

So your adult children live rent free AND don't have to do any household chores?
The son pays the equivalent of 500 dollars a month to stay at home but he'll be moving out by the end of the year.

The daughter is a third year university student who also works...so she's good. She does keep her room in tip top shape but not much else.
