It baffles me how some people are content with moving up/down at a snail's pace on those things

Are they really that lazy that they can't take any forward steps once they get on one? Are they in some kind of simple minded awe that a machine is moving them and they like to look around? At least have the courtesy to favor the right side so I can walk past you if I want

It's even worse when a fatty is taking up the entire width of the escalator and you're trapped behind them.

Anyone who has ever lived in a big city knows the escalator rule

The only thing more obnoxious than someone who doesn't are the little escalator zealots who huff and puff because they have to ask someone to move over

What long arse escalator are you riding that gives you enough time to get this irritated?

What type of douchebag rushes up or down an escalator? Enjoy the ride dick. There's nothing that important in your life that you have to push past people on a fcuking escalator that takes less than a minute to reach the top or bottom. frick you

Escalators IDGAF

Moving sidewalks are what pisses me off, they are there to help speed things up, not lean your fat arse up on and block the way.

I'll keep walking if there's no one in front of me. I won't walk past someone else though - I'll just wait.

Depends on if I'm in a hurry or not. Escalators have a higher step between landings than conventional stairs do. So not everyone can climb them like stairs.

Often times an escalator will be labeled with no walking. However, stand on the right if you don't plan on walking.

A one flight deal I don't see the point in saving 10 seconds taking steps. In a subway or something when trying to catch a connecting train, I can see why those seconds matter
