re: How many GIRs do you average in a round?

You don't know how handicaps work then. Yeah.. I'll have a round where I only get 4 GIRs and shoot a 87, but then I'll have a round where I have 10 GIRs and shoot a 76. 7 GIR is my average, and that average is on the up right now. Add in that I am a very good at chipping and putting and there you go. The numbers don't lie. I shot a 79 in a tournament yesterday hitting 7 GIRs and had 29 putts. So your math is a little off.

Ummmm - no
Unless you are only putting 25 times a round
7 GIR is pretty accurate for a 6.

Try the golfweek am tour. They run a good one there that goes to a bunch of courses around Jax.

I usually average 2-4. Some days I chip great, some days I feel like I'm sponsored by Lays potato chips...you can't have just one!

12 is my target goal each round.
I get it a lot.

I need to start tracking this. Just off memory, I usually have 2-3 birdie putts per round.
13 index. Not sure if that tracks, but I have a handful of one putt boogies and two putt doubles too.

Shot 84 yesterday at Golden Nugget.
5/14 Fairways (my driver is horrible right now)
10/18 GIR
36 Putts (3 three-putts)
It took me a few holes to get used to the green speed.
I had a couple of chipping snafus that led to double bogies.
My online handicap has me at 9.7 only counting rounds from the past 12 months.

Yep. Awesome app. Just loaded it up over the weekend. I’d been using GolfLogix to track this stuff. It’s not as good,

The Grint is also a good stat tracking app that gives you USGA compliant handicap too. That’s what I’ve been using for the last 2 years or so

You should apologize for using Sprint.

Some can't handle the truth that there are baws like you capable Of utterly disassembling some of these goat tracks regardless of 600 yard distances. They don't want to confront the sad truth that they will Never be able to deliver the sheer devastation with the flip of their wrist commanding the business end of x stiff driver. The looks on their sad faces says it all.
