40ish baws: Ever felt like shite all the time? Not fat, seemingly good health?

Been fighting this for a few years now. Just feel low energy and tired most of the time. I'm not fat, but probably not in the best physical shape. Probably drink a little more than most. But other than that, no identified health issues. Anyone ever deal with this and find a way to feel better? Just looking for some advice. TIA

Low T
Start lifting weights (mainly deadlifts) and listening to Trump rally speeches. That should pump you back up to where you need to be.

Lol.
Its probably fair to say I've dealt with some depression/anxiety for a long time.

Sinus drainage and allergies can cause some of those symptoms without you realizing it.

I turn 40 in January. I don't have the energy I once had. It just comes with age. Try to be as active as possible and keep a better outlook on what you eat. You take vitamins? If not, start taking vitamin D. A lack of vitamin D can actually make you feel worse than you would imagine.

Do you exercise regularly? If not try it and if so try something different.

I’m 42, almost 43. Had twins a year ago and have a stressful job. I cut back in sugar and processed foods about 75-80% and go thru spurts where I cut it out 100%. Lost 15 pounds and feel great. Amazing how much energy I have now.

This made me tee-hee.
OP. Get low T checked. Real doc too or a reputable clinic. I’m switching docs to have mine checked. Some of those low T clinics sound like they are gonna put you on SOMETHING no matter what your readings are.
T-levels are ok? Might be depression/anxiety.
Sucks being 40...... Sometimes.

Have a CMP (complete metabolic panel-blood work done) and thyroid work up...same thing and I found out it was the old thyroid-ending up having it removed and take synthroid and a vitamin D supplement-much more energy now. Good luck

Sounds good. Probably not an option...

I'm the same age and agree completely. I also agree with the Vitamin D post. Outdoor exercise is key too.
If you feel significantly bad though then please go to doc. I "felt bad" four months before I was diagnosed w stage iv lymphoma. I didn't have fever or a cold and felt ok during day. Every evening just felt crappy.

do you drink most days? If so stop and replace it with moderate exercise or other productive activities.

Cut out processed foods and try your best to get 8 hours of sleep every night. Our bodies don't recover as easily as they used to. Proper fuel and rest is a must!
