i disagree

if anything i think most real college football fans are mourning the loss of LSU as opposed to laughing at them

Surprisingly many Bama fans have came out the last two weeks and said the O hire is bad for the SEC. Yeah, no shite.

Said "how can u say anything about Joe Alleva with a straight face". LSU was number 5 on their bottom 5 from last week. He said, "we could beat a dead horse all day talking about number 5". Don't listen to finebaum much and most of the callers are legit crazy but u have to admit finebaum is right. We have become the laughing stock of college football. It has happened

Notre Dame was discussing Paul on Sunday 10/01/17. They nicknamed him "SCUMBAUM"

This. I live outside Louisiana now. I have friends that are Vandy grads/fans laughing at us. Mostly because of the O hire.

Why would you listen to that worm? If I wanted to hear from someone who wants to perform fellatio on Nick Saban regularly, I'll get Terri Saban's cell phone Number....she is much better to look at and listen to

frick Paul Finebaum.

I think what was said by a lot of people was "Coach O is perfect for LSU."

The "talks like us" crowd took that as a compliment obviously. I knew it was condescending.

don't really give a flying frick what finebaum thinks, and we aren't the laughing stock of the country, we're going through a down time, like everyone else does, and it will eventually get straightened out

yes, and it still remains to be seen if O can pull it out. getting his DL back and the maturing of the defense may change the picture big time. EVERY program has tough times. if things do not improve, then action should be taken but O has to be given his chance. if not, LSU will never be able to hire a coach again.

in the meantime, I say we need to just realize the team is not very good right now and let the season play out. sure, criticize when deserving but the hate and vitriolic comments are not helping LSU one frickin' bit.

what this team NEEDS is a victory. I've been on teams like this before and one win turned things around. i'm sure their confidence is not at a high point to say the least.

Screw finebaum and his elephant ears. Makes me want to punch him in his face everytime I look at his goofy arse. Never played sports in his life but wants to call himself an analyst and "the king of cfb" lol stick to journalism, you fig. He looks like a little bitch everytime he's around saban. Like a scared puppy. I kinda think he blows nick on the side for a few extra bucks, would be a hell of a grip to grab onto for saban with pawwwwls ears.

Does it really remain to be seen if O can pull it out?

I actually agree with you about something, but how much time? And how bad does it have to get for you to be on board? I think he should go at the end of the season unless he wins out. MAYBE with a tough loss to Bama. What do you think?

ETA: I would realistically understand people being OK with a tough loss to Auburn as well. I wouldn't agree, but I would understand.

In ONE year we have went from "are they really firing the winningest coach in LSU history?" and being talked about as a top 10 job in the country to this

From a top 10 job to a dumpster fire in 1 year. Well done to all involved.

If Ed wins out we should name the fricking stadium after him. I will run naked with a corn cob up my butt through the parade grounds, with the words "O is a God" freshly tattooed on my back.

Oh I know it's not happening. I'm just trying to gauge what it will take for some people to get on board with a fire.

Ed should get at least 2 seasons with the staff he selects to be honorable.
