But...if nukes are off the table...you could just aggressively patrol the seas and sink any invasion fleet and shoot down any aircraft that try and land.

What happens when the world starts building carriers and subs in remote ports around the world? We can't patrol every area of the globe and protect our shores. The rest of the world, if coordinated has 1,000 times more resources than we do

We would be wiped out easily, and I'm talking an invasion of the US mainland if the rest of the world is given enough time, which it will be because we can't occupy all those foreign countries

So you use satellites to find and destroy everything before they get completed.

Also no nukes/chemicals is completely unrealistic. The winners make the rules in War. We would nuke everyone else and come out the winners

The US could have those ports out of commission within a couple days

No. Our infratructure isn't designed with war in mind. Not enough redundancy. Too many bottlenecks.

New shipyards and new vessels would take years to make.

We would have to lay dormant to allow this to happen.

Yup, I member that one. Needed to get to a more plausible war scenario though.

We could unleash the full power of this

You have to keep in mind only Europe, China and Russia have the military to kick things off. The rest of Asia, Indian sub-continent, Africa and South America will have little impact. If we go offensive against ECR with decimating effects, those other regions will have little capability.

Europe is small, but Russia and China will be problematic based of their geographical footprint.

No way we would have the firepower to scour the entire globe while protecting our shores and fighting multiple fronts (Canada/Mexico) and engaged in multiple large scale battles. You are assuming the rest of the world isn't being proactive while this is happening.

Not to mention we can't launch airstrikes from any foreign bases so we would be solely reliable on carriers. The world could just focus it's power on taking out our carriers. Without carriers we lose by a landslide.

It's a give and take. They can't move troops to north America effectively because of the lack of vessels coupled with our navy preventing it. We can't get caught overextending our navy in a vulnerable spot.

They could never invade us and take over.

Well it's a given that on day one you launch the biggest all out attack the world has ever seen.

You bomb every foreign oil field, air base and naval yard you can.

You knock out their power plants, try to destroy their nuke plants to the point they melt down, which wreaks havoc to their capabilities in other ways.

Go full scorched earth.

And on the homefront? Start executing all these riotous ratfrick Antifa and BLM hooligans en masse, in the streets.

Make it known that anyone collaborating with the enemy or against the US will be succinctly shot and their families stripped of their wealth and sent to the Canadian gulags.

If China and Russia teamed up today for a full blown war the US would be gone in a heartbeat.

Please support your argument.

We have more Carriers than the world combined.

We have more naval ships than Russia and China combined

We have more military aircraft than the rest of the top 10 countries combined.

We have more missiles and the best missile defense in the world (if it works)

How does China and Russia knock us out in a heartbeat?

It would be another 2 front war....one vs the rest of the world and one to fight off the liberals right here in the US who would join sides with the enemy.

All I got to say is that the rest of the world better be glad that we're docile, peace-loving, Christian folk who love God and momma.
