There are several movies that I think are perfect but the one that comes to mind first is Back to the Future.

The Lord of The Rings Trilogy

I guess my "perfect" films are Pulp Fiction, The Godfather Part II (I always liked part 2 better than the original) and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (for my under the radar selection).
And I'm surprised that No Country For Old Men is getting as much love in this thread as the "perfect" film. For me the ending just ruined what was, up to that point, a perfect film. I guess the ending is supposed to be making some sort of statement in relation to the sheriff's dream, but it didn't even cause me to go into deep thought about it. It really just pissed me off instead.

Rocky 1.
One of the greatest underdog movies. Showed the grittiness of the time, city, and the person. Rocky had some internal struggles on top of having to prepare for Apollo.
One of the greatest, most recognizable scores of all time.

Although I love Princess Bride, most women that have seen the movie express a great lack of interest. At least in my experiences. And these chicks are usually in sync with my movie tastes. Princess Bride seems to be the outlier.

Every person I know loves Princess Bride, male and female. That may be a generational thing.
