You mean the large liberal echo chambers for the most part support Democrats? They had to do a survey to figure that out?

familiarity can breed contempt sure. But diverse communities tend to be more culturally tolerant. This sort of goes hand in hand with the liberal philosophy.

I assumed a lot of their fan base was in SC as well.

As far as I was able to tell, with the exception of places like Rock Hill and Greenville, most folks in SC care as much about pro football as those in Alabama.

Yup. The more educated sports fan generally prefers CFB.

Can someone explain to me why the LA Rams and LA chargers are different

It can have the opposite effect for sure. If we are honest though, those bothered by urban environments usually move to the deep suburbs. Though they are likely still fans of the team so I see your point.

Fortunately, I won't have to commute if I don't want to. Living in Tuscaloosa is already too much for me. Would much prefer 1 neighbor every 10 square miles.

2,290 sample size when dealing with 32 teams is WAAAAAAAY too small. Survey is shite, therefore graph is shite.

For the math challenged, that's an average of 71.6 fans per team surveyed. Not enough fans.

ETA: And another thing, it looks like nearly half of those surveyed did not answer. Which means it's even worse than I previously stated. These are numbers that mean absolutely nothing.

All I was really tryin' to say was that cities give you an exposure/lifestyle that will lead many folks to lean left. Could have been more eloquent :) I'm on a boring conference call.

How old are you?

And you still believe in the honesty of polls and surveys.

Survey urban cities and get majority dimocrat. Nothing to see here.
But look how much of them didn't answer!

Through in the suburbs and surrounding rural areas for honest results!

I have to get a JD somewhere. Neither my GPA or LSAT was good enough to get in somewhere more....prestigious.

It's funny to watch you try and pretend like your conclusions are backed up by research and studies while you ignore potential inconvenient variables.

And I would say it's actually easier to hate people you DO interact with.
