income redistribution
You either have balls or are just plainly an idiot to make a case of redistribution against Republicans considering Obocare and all the lefty social programs we have had to swallow over the years and no, I ain't linking shite. Common sense says I shouldn't have to.

I don't know if this is an intended "punishment" for highly taxed localities, in the mode of the Obama Tax on tanning salons and subsequently a white-people tax. But it would surely incentivize lowering local and state taxes, no? At lease in a rational world

I mean that's exactly what this "tax reform" bill is. Why is it okay when your guys do it?

starvation can be quite the motivator, charity needs to be volunteered, not enforced by the government

This tax plan is sensible. Glad we can agree.

Why is it not okay with you guys when our guys suggest it but yet you have no problem when your guys suggests it?
Any tax that takes from one person and gives it to another is redistribution is it not? Pretty sure that has become the unofficial law of the land.

California is in debt up to its eyeballs and needs those deductions so that they can keep the income taxes and not send the money to the fed.
Californians pay more federal tax with less return on investment than any other state. It keeps welfare red states afloat.

I live here and the tax plan is awesome
Increase of 3200. Is that what im reading? Thats what people in Cali are complaining about?

Read the methodology, military spending is not included:
How about all levels of fed government pensions and benefits? Retirees tend to move to warmer "red" states.

I love how Progs always only tell half the story about the Red State/ Blue State tax redistribution .In other words, yeah - Democrats residing in Mississippi and Louisiana sure do like their welfare, food stamps etc. You are welcome to relocate them to coastal liberal enclaves if you want to reverse the trend. By all means - come get your fellow Democrats. Start with Baton Rouge , Nola and Jackson please.
