My dad just got done in aid at Florida too with the Irma damage. Obviously nowhere near done but his job was for his small area. He was working around Miami. Said they got hit pretty hard even though they didn't take the direct hit.

Also looks like it's a wait and see with how fast the system moves, along with how fast and south the potential front comes in late this weekend/early next week.

Good news (for us in La) is the Euro doesn't typically overdo a trough sweeping down like that. Still uncertain of course with the time frame but I'd be more skeptical if the GFS had a front doing a panhandle strike from the front catching it.

Pretty tight window on the computer models this far out. Anywhere from mouth to the Mississippi to Panama City in Florida.
