You think OU is talking about next year and giving their coach some time to grow?

This was a reload, not a rebuild.

We fired our most successful coach to date. That wasn't necessarily the problem. The problem was that we took the coach fired from OleMiss. And apparently, Alleva read TigerDroppings too much and only kept his options between Herman & Jimbo. So when that failed, he had no other options.

Funny how no one and I mean NO ONE was pushing this narrative until State shoved our dicks in the dirt.

Of course, I doubt you'll see it that way.

I see the last 10 win season in 2013...period.

Well apparently not meeting that standard was fine and dandy for the Les lovers the last few years.

As expected.

5/6 years looks better than this start, but we'll see how it shakes out.

I did my fair share of fussing after the hire and the last two games. I have decided that I will give coach o till the end of the year before I judge this season. I'm not expecting a 10 win season this year. I think most rational fans didn't. What I expect is a team that plays hard every weekend and that DOES NOT play down to talent. For me, this season isn't about wins. I would like to see the team play evey game close and hard. Although it's not about wins, we should win 9 games. Are we flawed? Yes. So is the majority of teams we play this year.

So what is your observation thus far? Getting skull fricked and quitting by a MSU team that got beat like a dog both literally and figuratively at UGA. Escaping against Syracuse.

Nah I'm just happy to see something change. I'd HAPPILY take a chance on something new and miss than accept being an 8+/-1 team forever

see this is why people were and are upset about Miss State and Syracuse

They didn't play hard against Clanga and they played down to their competition against the Cuse

He still has (a short amount of) time to get things turned around but things are looking dire right now.

The stubborn Miles had the fans so fed up that the fans were just happy to have someone, anyone.

You expect this team to win 10 games? I wish I saw what you see, because this sure doesn't look like a 10 win team to me.

No shite it doesn't look like a 10 win team

the point though is we're already expecting less from o than we ever did for Miles, which is a problem on multiple levels.

you are completely full of it. NO ONE is expecting less. We/I am waiting for this staff to make the necessary adjustments and fully implement their scheme/personnel before I freak completely out.

Has it been ugly so far...you betcha. Could it get worse? Sure looks like it will. At the end of season, if there is NO improvement....then we can break out the torches and pitchforks.

Well if they don't...we will be enjoying a 3-win season.

The point is, some of us live in the real world and realize that this team doesn't look very good so far this year and it's unlikely they come close to 10 wins. It doesn't mean we're content with that.
