What has to happen?

Growing up in the 80's and 90's and going to school and playing ball; I don't remember the atmosphere being so racially divided.

What happened?

What needs to happen to get back to where we were?

This country has never been racially united

Slavery
Forced busing
Quotas
Entrance exams
Affirmative action

And never will be as long as one class of citizens, is treated better than all others, by govt fiat

The left grew accustomed to getting away with anything: If I had a son, beer summit... etc

The heiress apparent was expected to continue this. When the American people rejected her it was too much for the left to handle.

1. Space invaders

2. Leaders enlightened to realize oneness with All.

1 above more likely.

It was far worse then...you don't remember it because you weren't affected by it.

Social media has brought it to your doorstep.

Humans are animals, and we act like we've evolved to act for better and worse. I support diversity and think equality is a value to strive for. However throughout history, when populations mix, there has always been and will always be inequality and turmoil. There has never been a "golden land" where many different races lived side by side in complete equality and peace.

When the Black American family is re-established with a responsible father and mother being the main influence in their children's lives. First we need to figure out how to wake up Black Americans to the Dimmerats sick plot to keep them poor and dependent.

To my fellow Black brothers and sisters, you've been voting for the Dims going on 60 yrs and you're worse off...., think about it!.

This isn't about racism...this is about politics and winning politically.

The left in this country thinks "they have a winner" in hurling racism charges at everybody that doesn't agree with them politically.

This is straight out of Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it.

Trump has chosen to fight this. I just ignore it.

The funny thing about some blacks acting excited that whites are being outbred and will be in the minority in a few decades is that hispanics already passed them up and when hispanics are the biggest group they'll be way more racist to blacks than whites are.

Don’t have the data to back this up, but I like to think it all started with the OJ trial. That’s was a major fissure that led to a number of other things. Throw in 24/7 media trying to get ratings and social media giving a voice to every a-hole that didn’t have one before. We have people now that view politics like a team sport and refuse to open themselves up to opinions that don’t have an R or D next them. People have put themselves into political silos. To that end, we now have people on both sides who are invested in stoking the flames and keeping us divided.

I don’t know if that’s possible. Politics have blended into everything and I don’t know if you can put the toothpaste back in the tube. I’d like to think another 9/11 would bring us together but I’m not so sure anymore. What we need is real leadership that is invested in bringing people together instead of pointing the figure. We need people to realize that just because they might disagree politically with someone else, that doesn’t make that person is evil. We need to tell political commentators and agitators on both sides) to GTFO and quit driving us apart.
