Yep. Because it's a white guy. Black on black crime doesn't count
Yes, this is worse. Someone was driving around and killing people at random who he did not even know.

Okay, not "worse". Murder is murder. But it is deserving of greater attention by law enforcement because now everybody is at risk. And it's likely to happen again. A drug-related or domestic killing is murder, but the risk doesn't usually extend to the wider community.
Think.

trump voter, really? You think he voted at all? Probably not but if he did he's a social services recipient from the look of it and was pulling every left lever he could find.

Absolutely.. the trashy kind who have nothing to offer to society
This also applies to whites, hispanics, asians, mongols, Russians, etc

That guy lives in Hickory Ridge with his parents so I doubt he's receiving welfare of any type.

But a random murder/robbery of some fellow walking down the street does.
Think.

Not exactly sure how many murders in BR would be classified as "random"

To belive that drug related murders and domestic violence are 100% self-contained and deserve less attention than one rogue lunatic is just a way to justify and excuse the horrendous conditions of our inner cities today.
What is worse for the community?
One psycho on the loose who will eventually be caught? Or 40 murders so far this year coupled with violent crime? Which has a bigger effect on the community in reality? Which poses more danger? Which deserves more attention?
If you answer that the 2 isolated murders by the outside acting lunatic deserve more attention and have more community impact than the 60% increase of violence and murders that originate from within that community then I must belive that you fail to see the forest for the trees.
Imagine if you had a school where all the teachers taught the students that 2+2=5. And anyone who tried to discuss the problem or explain that the teachers were wrong was outcast and expelled.
Then imagine someone runs into the school and yells 2+2=6 and all of the teachers and the community come together to find that man and ensure he's brought to justice for his incorrect math equation. But then the next day simply return all of their children to their 2+2=5 teachers without a complaint.
Which is worse for the students and the community? All of those teachers or the one guy?

The real violent racist scum of this country are providing the real violent racist scum of this nation a lot of of 80 IQ point reasons to keep killing innocent people. What will the response to This be now?
Look at it this way- between these black guys murdered and the cops murdered last Summer - probably 25% of Baton Rouge either knew a victim or has some kind of connection. It's beyond sad.

They apparently still don't have the murder weapon, but he let them search his room and get his <1gram of pot and his HGh.

See if she knows what book he stole.

Why the frick was his name and photo released if he isn't being charged?
Is this a situation where they can place him in the area but don't actually have the murder weapon?
Was he just shooting people from his vehicle?
I'm very curious how they got this description:
quote:
Authorities linked the fatal shootings through ballistic testing and launched on Friday what one official described as an "all out hunt" for the suspected triggerman, described in law enforcement records as a white male of medium build with a military style haircut who may be wearing a tactical vest.
Should I be surprised if it turns out to be a fat guy with messy hair that has never worn a tactical vest?

Mayor Doom trying to re-divert people's attention from the generic "community member on community menber" crime.

Random murders are scary because they could happen to anybody caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
There is an element of safety in believing if I'm not mixed up in the drug culture, and I stay out of the really bad places in town, then I will be safe; however, that's not the case with random murders or even serial killers who target innocents.
Gang wars, drug disputes, rappers going after each other; that's one thing. A guy targeting people out walking alone is entirely different and yes it scares people more.

There's a bunch of huge student housing compounds recently built around that park. There's a lot more white people in that area than there used to be.
Correct. A generic looking white guy with medium build is pretty much a needle in a haystack even in that area.
Hopefully shooter is caught before he does this shite again. Random shootings scare people. We can't discount them as drug or gang violence. It could happen to almost anyone.

Either a witness or some kind of security camera if I had to guess.

Then why release race? How often do we see "black man kills someone else" or "black man responsible for drive by"? Answer, never.
Then they re-arrested the guy that the media has been throwing under the bus for stealing a book last night. If I'm that guy, I am finding a lawyer and suing the piss out of BRPD and WBRZ.
