Just don't come crying to the government for a handout when something goes wrong with it.
Like when banks had to cry to the government for bailouts?

I hear what you're saying, but I've never heard anyone crying to the government for handouts over cryptos. So you're just making up scenarios that could happen and conveniently forgetting what has actually happened.

Let's talk about the political future of Cryptocurrencies.

It won't be long, Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies will be dealt with. You actually think the Global Banking system is going to allow true competition to frick up their fiat currencies? Come on man.

I'm talking about when those cryptocurrencies get hacked, the value plummets, it goes kaput, etc.

Don't know why I needed to explain this...

You didn't explain anything.

More than 75 banks are now on Ripple's blockchain network

Big Business Giants From Microsoft to J.P. Morgan Are Getting Behind Ethereum

You can do a Google search to find hundreds/thousands of other links like these. I'm just using these 2 to prove that you're remedial and talking out of your arse.

Cryptocurrencies, the biggest fraud currently out there. It is going to blow up when governments start to crack down and they will and it is going to be worth shite.

What is crypto currency backed by? Who regulates it the users? You have a decentralized currency which is essentially kept up by its users what could go wrong? Also this is all online so who else accepts this currency? Can you go and get it in the form of notes? Who regulates all of this to ensure no fraud is happening? This is a scam and it is going to blow up just watch.

Let me paraphrase:

What is the internet backed by? Who regulates the users? You have a decentralized network which is essentially kept up by its users. What could go wrong? Also this is all online, so what is the practical use? Can you go outside and do work with it? Who regulates all of this to ensure no fraud is happening? This internet thing is a scam, and it is going to blow up. Just watch.

Like others said... Govts will join together to block it.

I don't know much about it but how could it ever be legit if it's only a fixed amount?

Doubtful this ever takes off in the near future

Govts blocking this tech is the only thing that really worries me. Any person or thing that is frightened usually reacts out of fear and usually that's a bad thing. Same for the governments.

If you're talking about the number of coins being a fixed amount, that is no different IMO than any other currency before paper. gold, silver, precious jewels, other metals, rocks on some pacific island have all been used to buy, sell and determine wealth at some point. All of them are finite in amount.

I'm not economist so take everything with a grain of salt.
