Trump ending DACA 'one of the ugliest and cruelest decisions ever made by a President'

Bernie Sanders stating the obvious.
The more I read about these kids and what they've had to overcome to just be able to go to college I'm in awe. They can't get federal aid, only a few states offer any state aid. All the while, many have excelled while constantly having this albatross on them not being a citizen even though they know no other country.
DACA allowed them to get social security numbers, drivers license in some states but most importantly a job. They will lose these jobs that many went to college for years to have in just six months. There will be no other option. They will not be able to work here legally. The probability that this Congress will get something done about this is highly unlikely. Do you have any doubt that Trump won't deport them? By this time he will have already destroyed their lives over something they had absolutely no control over.
I know I've bitched about Trump a lot but I've never considered him evil in a vile human being context. I just think he's obnoxious. But if he destroys these kids lives like this, history will not remember him kindly.

"Taking legal protections away from 800,000 young people raised in this country is absolutely counter to what we stand for as a nation," Sanders continued. "If Trump ends DACA, Congress must act immediately to restore it."

I guess the faucet of young Mexican boys to abduct is getting cut off and this bothers you?

Had the president not acted, Texas and 9 other states would have filed suit Tuesday. They would have won. These people risked immeidate revocation of their work visas. Apple HR would be legally obligated to pink slip them that day. Deportation risk depends on their location. This compromise by trump gives them a chance. If you have an issue with the risk these people are facing, blame disgraced former president obama for granting them these privileges through clearly unconstitutional action.

They're fighting it kicking and screaming

So if I run out and lose my job due to a DUI then the government won't prosecute because it would hurt my son?

Obama should have gone through congress. Trump is doing the correct thing and sending to Congress to fix.

Interested to see how this is announced... I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of DACA, but wasn't it enacted by Obama illegally? Isn't it a congressional issue?
If the President comes out and says "I am ending this illegal declaration, with a six month grace period for it to be properly written and passed by Congress" then I don't see anything wrong with it.
However, I won't hold my breath.

These people can't votes. Only in your delusional minds do you conjure up the idea that they vote illegally. WTF would they do that and risk deportation. These people have clean criminal records.
I'm sure these kids do have extended family members, friends, etc. that can vote. And I would imagine they'll remember who destroyed these lives when they're at the ballot box.

After all these years why hasn't a court struck this down if that's the case?

You should be on your knees thanking trump for giving these people a chance.
Legislative action is their only hope. He gave them 6 months. They may have only had a week if 10 states filed suit tomorrow.

Has it been brought before the USSC?

Congress wouldn't do jack shite about it then. You REALLY think this Congress will be able to get something done. Give their track record this year, I'd say the prospects of getting something accomplished is highly dubious at best.
