Blazing Saddles, but it should be noted that it and Young Frankenstein were made in the same year. That is utterly insane for 2 of the top 10 comedies of all time to have been made by the same director in the same year. Kudos to Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder.

Blazing Saddles is my favorite because humanity seemingly has had one shot to go in on the topics they made jokes about in that movie and they fricking nailed every one. There will never be another movie like it

Meanwhile, my parents let me buy Spaceballs on VHS as a kid and I'd fall asleep to it playing every night. Actually explains a lot about me...

I'm partial to Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles. The ones I've seen most are HistorybofnthebWorld Part One and Robin Hood Men in Tights because they are brilliant

For me it's Young Frankenstein by far. I like Blazing Saddles o.k. But never had the love for it that many have. And Terri Garr + Madeline Kahn >>> Madeline Kahn.

Space balls is a fun movie but to me it falls a bit hort of classics like Airplane and Princess Bride (which I consider to be the same genre).

All three are brilliant but Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein are in a league of their own. Of the two, I'll lean slightly to Young Frankenstein simply because I am not 100% crazy about the Blazing Saddles ending. It's definitely nit picking but it is very hard to choose between those two great films!

Young Frankenstein is Brooks best film from a pure cinematic standpoint, but Blazing Saddle's is the funniest movie of all time.

History of the world is clearly #3 for me followed by space balls.

It's very very very close between Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein for me. I would give the edge to Blazing Saddles, then Young Frankenstein, then The Producers.

I wouldn't call it 'truly bad', but compared to the rest of his work, High Anxiety is not good.
