What's up everyone. Longtime lurker and only posted a couple times. I'm taking my parents to Fort Walton/Destin next week, I'm looking for a good steakhouse to go to one night. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? TIA

There's a Ruth's Chris' in Destin. It's been a few years since I've been to it, but it was pretty good.

Both above are excellent suggestions. If your party wants seafood as a choice Marina Cafe is also very good.

Thanks guys. I figured we would be eating seafood the whole week, for the most part. A steak would be a good change of pace, everyone loves a good steak.

McGuires actually has really good steak. Ribeye I had was excellent.

Smoked prime rib was awesome too.

Ditto on McGuire's. Smoked prime rib and an Irish Red FTW

Seagar's is hit and miss for me. I've had excellent dinners there and some mediocre. Ruth's is always consistent so there's that. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Ruth's Chris is where you want to go, Seagar's may be the worst prime steak house I've been to and I've been multiple times

Seagar's is super expensive. I'd rather go with Ruth's for the consistency.

Bone in Ribeye at Bijoux is the best steak I've had in Destin

Yeah for the price, I didn't think Seagar's was all that impressive. The steaks I've had at both McGuire's and Marlin Grill were just as good.
