No shite...maybe it's the 59 inches of rain with all streets flooded? Or the emergency only travel in sections of the city. Thanks for the sleuth reporting!

I posted in another thread. My aunt is the Director of Operations for the Superdome and Arena (SMG). They are aggressively trying pull the game into the Dome.
Obviously I'm in line for tickets whenever there's an event in the Dome, so I'm in contact with her.
Will update with any official news if I hear it first.
Otherwise I'm sure it will leak before I can get back here.

I bet it's Monday at Jerry world. Allows for cleanup from Saturday, weather to die down and extra couple days for planning/travel changes. Dallas is also easier to get to.

No reason to risk playing near potential weather.

It should have been almost certain Thursday and Friday when the hurricane made landfall, but alas.

Shorter amount of time to try to sell tickets and recoup gate from Houston.

I for the life of me can't figure out why they don't have contignecy plans that are not already in place and made public.

Seems simple to say, plan "B' is ...(insert venue) and the lastest time that decison can be made is.....(whatever that date and time is). Fans can then start making their own contingency plans.

Just seems so simple.

Am i the only one hoping for New Orleans only because the stories of the mormons in New Orleans against LSU while Southern Decadence is ongoing?

Floatation devices should be required if Superdoom is the choice. Mayor MOON will be out there with his bucket dumping water into clogged drain. Getting refund and NOT going to Superdoom. Tiger Stadium should be the only option.
