Not the official team name, but commonly recognized things teams/units are called

Some of my favorites

CFB-
Desert Swarm (Arizona Defense mid 90's)
Wrecking Crew (aTm DL and now all Defense)
Palomino Express (Tulsa RB in 80's)
KGB (OU Defense for year early 80's)

CBB-
Phi Slamma Jamma
Fiddlin 5 (Kentucky)
Richardson's Runts (Arkansas)
The Posse (Tulane 2nd team)

NFL-
Doomsday (Cowboys Defense 70's)
Killer B's (Dolphins Defense early 80's)
The Steel Curtain

New York Sack Exchange.

Lions have had Silver Rush and I believe air traffic control or something similar for their secondary at one point.

The Nike Sack Exchange poster was a good one. Nike's posters were a must in rooms.

No Fly Zone - Current Denver secondary

Talib and Harris has to be the best CB pairing in the salary cap era. Then you got Stewart and Ward as the safeties.
