Why are you saying Provo? Just curious why that's better than BR. I'm sure we could get a bigger crowd than BYU.

Because we could have torrential rain next weekend in BR.

I'd much rather BR.

I've said repeatedly that it's going to Baton Rouge or Provo. Assuming it can't be played in Houston or that it's not canceled altogether.

No matter what he decides, the media will give it a very negative spin.

I do agree that the sooner the decision is made, the better the potential outcome. Since LSU played UF in TS last year, it may be best to move it to Utah.

Right. Why move the game to a place that is expected to get rain all day Saturday?

I agree, we have to take it out of Houston and let that town recover. I disagree in the fact you think Aleeva has control over where to move it or to move it.
I also disagree with you on Provo. The Super Dome is the logical choice in my opinion. Flight changes for the BYU fans through Houston to MSY would be a lot easier than 50,000 Lsu fans scrambling for plane tickets. As far as hotel rooms, New Orleans should not be a problem this time of year.
The dome is empty next Saturday as well. But you never know what other underlying forces drive the game to be played where ever they decide to play it.
Lets just hope they decide to play!

Its not up to Alleva. The incessant bashing of him by some of you is a sign of early onset dementia. The game is owned by a corporation, thatLINK with ESPN, will decide what happens.

Ad hominems reveal you for a guy who can't reason his way through an issue . I understand you have already paid for your tickets, but there will not be a game in Houston Saturday. So I'll put you down as favoring losing a game for the third year in a row. Because unless the venue is changed, the game will not be played.

New Orleans makes more sense than either of those. Technically as "neutral" as Houston, NFL stadium & capacity, should be unaffected by weather, hotels and flights available to bring in lots of fans.

OP, you're either very uninformed or intentionally bending over backwards to put this on Alleva when in fact, Alleva can only offer solutions, but it's up to everyone else including the NCAA and the broadcasters to agree. Same thing as last year. If Alleva actually had the authority, we would have played UF some time that week, but it was UF and the SEC commissioner that F'd it up.

Actually the fact that you are uneducated is very telling in this situation, because you actually think this is up to Lsu. We must have the dumbest fanbase in the country.

Doesn't BYU have a contract with ESPN? Or did that go away when they joined the Mountain West?

This guy gets it. Lots of behind the scene things that simpletons like pimp have no idea about. After all, he thinks alleva is actually in power here and can just tell everyone how this will play out.
