I got to watch it thanks to you posting about it. I was in fact about to just go to bed at 10pm last night, and then started watching Jeff's periscopes until about 2am when it seemed like he wasn't coming back online that night. Still had FOMO while trying to fall asleep after that though

Two sets of storm chasers parked in car wash stalls viewing the carnage as the eye wall was upon them.
Debris, including the roof of the car wash flying by and in their view maybe 50 feet away was a very small blue building - one might call it a shed but it was actually a small building- that withstood the whole ordeal.
The event was live on periscope. It really was dramatic live. Many on TD began praising the Blue Shed (as it came to be called - affectionately) and rooting for its survival, which it did without obvious injury.
And now it's part of TD lore.
There are links in this thread that take you to the more dramatic moments.
