If you're not missing a bunch of teeth you won't fit in with them. They will hate on you for having all your teeth. That's all I got.

The last time I was there was 2011, which is probably not a good example. But I was there for every game in the '90s. For all the bitching we do about Alabama fans, they are actually very cool in person. Yes, they will talk trash, but they are pretty nice in general. You will probably have a great time there regardless of the game result. I highly recommend the trip.

--If you manage to get a ticket and you have any dear departed relatives, prepare a little note or something, because you'll be sitting so high up, you can pass it directly to them

--The stadium atmosphere is one of the most sterile, "NBA-like" atmosphere I've seen. Fans only cheer or applaud when prompted to. Or when they score. The "Million Dollar Band" is awful.

--In-stadium food is way better than Tiger Stadium. They have several BBQ joints, including Dreamland and Full Moon. They have a fricking POPEYE'S.

--I'm never setting foot in that stadium again. frick them.

--Eating wise, the original Dreamland is good. So is Full Moon.

--If you don't have a room, the only chance now is probably the Motel 6. It is an absolute shite hole for $130/night +/-

--Chuy's is a semi-decent mex place. Best feature is the bar where you can get margaritas and also a complimentary nacho bar. Food two years ago was meh, but it had just opened. I'm sure it's gotten better.

--The campus is absolutely beautiful. None of the buildings are falling down. Even the fricking garbage trucks are university branded. It's embarrassing that we have allowed the Gumps to out pace us on the beautification of our Flagship university.

--There will be plenty LSU tailgates. Find combined tailgates too--LSU and Bama fans. Those are fun as well. I bet The Sons of Saban would welcome y'all.

--It is really a fun trip if you have a couple friends and end up with a good tailgate.

--After the game is bad if Bama wins. Even worse if LSU wins.

Have a great trip. Bring a camera. It will be awesome, I'm sure.

Tuscaloosa is like a cleaner shreveport with a major university. there are a few nice restaurants, and their bars right off campus are really fun-especially compared to tigerland. overall tuscaloosa is pretty boring though.

their campus is beautiful, fans aren't really hostile either. tailgating scene is pretty average. in fact last trip I went I pretty much just stayed in the LSU rv lot, as there were a lot of alabama fans actually mooching off our tailgates rather being hospitable

for years I've shite on bryant denny's crowd noise, but 2015 was for whatever reason a really raucous crowd. also, I've had phenomenal seats and upper deck seats on multiple occasions for both. make sure it's a lower bowl seat. their upper deck fricking blows. just watch it on tv if you don't have a lower bowl seat.

Been there twice. Their fans are will give you a hard time at first, but then invite you for a drink at their tailgate (much like LSU fans).

Their fans also know football (especially SEC football). I had great conversations at tailgates with those folks.

Stay away from areas that have students tailgating (this holds true for any away game)

Have fun. Walk around and talk with people, and enjoy the experience. I love going to away games.

I would never tell them this, bc they already think EVERYTHING about Bama is perfect, but.. it's actually a very nice atmosphere for LSU fans (in my experience).

Been up there twice. 2001 & 2014. Not a bad thing about either trip. Real Alabama fans are cool and in no way compare to the inbreeds driving around here with Alabama stuff plastered all
Over there vehicle.

You're gonna be miserable if we lose and you're going to get beat up if we win.

Have fun.

They tailgate very well. Trash talk is blended with a surprising amount of good nature and good times. Friday night and Saturday pregame are always a good time. They can get pretty shitty after the game no matter the outcome, but stay out of the fray and it's no big deal.

Campus is beautiful, the girls are beautiful, and the atmosphere is generally the second best in the SEC (in my biased opinion). Get there early Saturday, it gets busy. They have some free and more $10 parking lots on campus that are close to busses that will drop you off pretty close to the quad, which is a good place to walk around.

Weather is a total wild card that time of year. It could be 70 and sunny or 45 and rainy, so keep an eye on that.

Tuscaloosa is shite but they have a few newer hotels just off interstate. Or stay in Birmingham to be safe. Their fans are horrible so be prepared. Traffic is about as bad as Baton Rouge as nobody actually stays in town after the game because Tuscaloosa is shite.

Campus is beautiful, get there early enough to enjoy it. The Bryant museum is worth the time to see. Bar called Gallettes is pretty cool, but be willing to get ridden pretty hard if you wear a lot of LSU gear. The yellow hammer drinks are good.
