Haha well I think Alexandria's traffic circle averages an accident per day. Maybe we should pump the brakes.

Too early for all that hate and discontent. I save that for after breakfast when I have my first drink of the day.

LSU has two very simple roundabouts, not even full traffic circles, and the retards who don't drive it every day are just completely fricking lost when they hit it.

We have one here in Leesville now. Only prob 60% use it correctly. And it's so small 18 wheelers tump over constantly.

I often wonder the same thing. The truth has a lot to do with intelligence (lack of) and too easy of a driving test. Ok well not how easy the test is but that you dont have to take one after you get past the first one. WTF dont they continue to test? Not the driving part but put simple stuff like a traffic circle on there. If you cant pass it dont freaking drive.

traffic circles only work if you already know every single road and where it goes, go to a strange place you don't know the roads and try to read those tiny frickin signs with small lettering to see what the frick the road name is so you know where to turn and you already caused an accident or passed it up and now you have to start all over again.

bigger signs with larger easy to read lettering will help a lot but ya, most fricks also cant drive so why add confusion to it with poor hard to read signage?

So you mean 'rednecks' not 'louisianians' as a whole

There just aren't enough funds or man hours available to cover all the bullshite that comes with allowing everyone the opportunity to drive. You have thousands of shitstains driving suspended, driving without insurance, driving while on medications/drunk. It just is impossible to cover everything the scum of the earth decides to pull.

Because I think most of them don't pay attention or are total idiots. Drivers in Louisiana have problems navigating 3 and 4-way stop sign intersections decently.

One more example of the horrible driving is Dufrene and Hickory in Harahan. There are 8 signs (Wrong Way, No Left Turn, etc) and people STILL turn onto it.

Never had an issue at the one in Denham or Juban. Maybe you just do not understand them.

Personally I think child pornographers are worse. But if you just hate traffic circles/ love kiddie porn that much, I guess you're entitled to that opinion.

I saw the ones they put in Hammond and was surprised that LADOTD thinks that the locals could figure it out.

It actually flows reasonably well.

Roundabouts are designed for 18 wheelers to track over the raised center island

The one at dalrymple/lakeshore is pretty shitty design.. but it is more efficient than that old T intersection.
