Is hole #5 at Santa Maria the toughest par 3 in the Baton Rouge area?

It is for me. Water left, swamp right, long iffy, and short better be tight right.

I always club up because that green is wide in the back.
I always struggle with #4 at the bluffs. 200 uphill and can't even see the green

I don't buy that, I would easily say it's the hardest on the course

absolutely.

From the back tees at 215 or so there is no doubt. Harder than 4 at the bluffs because there is no bailout, but it's close because the green on 4 is treacherous if you get above the hole. 5 at sm from 150-160 is not that bad.

We went through this song and dance before. It's not even the hardest par 3 on the course.
I don't like 5 or 11.
Back left pin for #17 at Beaver Creek is a doozy too. #15 at Webb because you never know when someone is going to lay on their horn at a driver running the light at College/Foster.
#5 UClub from the daily tips is fun too.

Idk about BR area but #2 at Atchafalaya from the tips is a mfer. 248yds, small pot bunker in front, shallow-but-wide bunker in back, OB left and trees right (you're dead here too). Not very wide either. I'll never forget a buddy's words as he teed up there for the first time..."I don't know if I can reach that bitch with my driver".

I've seen it play in the 260's off the gators, if you tip atchafalaya out there isn't a par 3 under 225....... but he asked about BR, I'd say 3 at CCL playing @ 224 and 16 at UClub @ 253 are the toughest.

What about 8 at Tamahka?

8 at City Park gives me hell

I've played #5 at santa from the very back. Was 230 with absolutely no miss

No one may believe this but Net and I both birdied it on the same day. It was playing 205.

16 at UClub from the tips. Nothing like being between clubs and those clubs being driver and 3 wood.
