I'm using the hell out of mine. Especially morning breakfast by the pool. Kids love it. Omletes, French toast, pancakes, breakfast burritos, bacon sausage ham etc. So much fun and easy to cook on. Very forgiving and easy to clean.

Smashburgers are awesome

I have the 2 burner version and home and 4 burner at the camp. It's by far my favorite thing to cook on.

I can never go back to grilling burgers

Man, that's tempting at that price. More brewing equipment or the griddle? Decisions. Decisions.

This thing is awesome and is the only piece of cooking equipment I have under my carport because it's the most frequently used.

I originally bought this about this time last year when I was volunteered to grill for my son's youth football team and family members. My grill wasn't big enough, so I bought this. It performed like a beast!

Yes and no.

Yes, because you remove the bottom shelf with two hand tightened screws and the legs just fold under.

No, because it's still heavy as hell.

GeauxT, I am debating what size Blackstone I should buy for my husband for Christmas. Do you prefer one over the other? Is there anything you miss about the 36 inch when you use the 28 inch?

So after several months of using this my biggest complaint is the the design of the damn the "catcher" part for juices and grease. You def want to put something under the whole thing bc shite is going to drip on the ground. I've burned top of my feet while cleaning it bc it flowed over and hit my foot.

I would give it an 8 out of 10 still

Go 36 IMO because it won't be cramped when you cooking a bunch of stuff

Half the time I only use burner 3 and 4 since it's closer to the drip hole and box

Get the 36”.

People tie a rag under the drip tray to catch excess. I think I’d like to modify the drip tray. It needs to be larger especially when cleaning. Other than that I love the Blackstone. It’s amazing to cook on.

Can you just change out your grill top with a griddle top? Maybe have half grill and half griddle surface that way?

That would be one of these. Little Griddle Pro. I also have one of them. 24" X 16" and leaves space on my 40" grill for cooking other things on the side. You just can't cook a big meal on them. 24" X 16" seems like a lot of space until you start cooking multiple items on it.
