We love our Blackstone! We cook breakfast, burgers, quesadillas, steaks, hibachi rice & meats.. The possibilities are endless with these griddles.
I invested in a good cover and keep a 3" PVC sleeve to tent the cover. I learned quick it can rust pretty easy.

Anyone know the max surface temperature that thing can get to?

I want to know this as well. Can you sear a steak on there?

Id cook a mean breakfast on that. I bet you can get some nice crust on the hashbrowns. Love the flattop crust on a burger, too

It gets damned hot. I sweat cooking over it. I'm getting an IR temp reader this week so I'll report back with temps. I haven't had it on high for cooking yet. By the looks of the pork I cooked last night searing a steak shouldn't be an issue.
