“The littlest thing would just set him off,” said one former player who asked not to be identified. “You could never tell what or when he might lose it on you. I was in the bullpen one time and he didn’t like my mechanics and the next thing I know he’s cussing me out and questioning my manhood."

I used to get cursed out at least once a practice in high school 10 years ago. It happens. Get tougher mentally or quit.

"It's not your fault, Wilson. See, it's your Dad's fault, he should've blown his load on your Mom's back..."

What a terrible coach for throwing his player under the bus like that.

Sounds like a bunch of pu$$y millennials complaining about a tough coach who insisted each player elevate himself.
This is what participation trophy recipients become. Pansies.

I'm guessing that whoever said this wasn't an everyday starter?
Sounds like a disgruntled bench warmer out for revenge.

The Cougars experienced an unusually high rate of player turnover since Heath took over the program in June 2015. Over the past two seasons, Charleston has had 46 different players on its roster. Heath brought in 24 new players for the 2017 season. In a down year in the Colonial Athletic Association, the Cougars managed just a 13-11 record in conference games.
Under Lee In 2014 and 2015, the Cougars were 88-34 with back-to-back NCAA regional appearances and a super regional berth.
I know he's an LSU guy, but the facts above sure make it seem like he's overdoing it. He took a very good program and made it worse. Hopefully he'll recalibrate and get it right.

Bertman was a master at the psychological aspect of baseball
If he saw that you didn't respond well to harsher criticism, he'd find a different way to motivate you.
That's the biggest difference. Some guys respond better to tough couching and some don't. A coach's job is to figure it out

We have arrived at the point where all young men should have to undergo basic training.

Wow could you imagine if a coach told a player that today and it leaked. He would never coach again in today's world.

He shouldn't recruit any whiny libtard players.

Some players complained about excessive conditioning drills, which included running from foul pole to foul pole in the outfield.
Preparation by conditioning? These poor kids. He should be ashamed of himself.

So he hasn't changed a bit from his LSU days!

It's worse than that. Seems it's just "Snow" or "Flakes". Snowflake is giving too much credit.
