Ya..I really didn't expect the 4 taken so far to make it to campus. I also didn't expect Storz or Cabrera ...so as of now...I'm feeling better then I thought I was..

We need rakers. Big ole swingin dicks at the plate.

I think Mason Templet is going to take a big step forward this upcoming year.

He's hitting well in his summer league. I think half his hits are for extra bases. He's also played 1st, 2nd, and 3rd so far this summer.

i know some baws in touch with scouts that really like Templet. I think his family does fine, and his dad told my friend he understood waiting with the infield so crowded. I would think he could take 3rd with his size?

Eh small ball, defense, and pitching are what win in Omaha these days.

Which is not to say I don't like us having at least a couple who can mash in the lineup every year, but the team we are sending to Omaha this time is much more likely to win than a group of power hitters and shallow pitching like the 2013 squad.

He went in the 14th round last year. It's still only in the 7th round thus far today.

I don't think he really helped himself this year either.

True. The other night for him was not good, poor guy. My heart went out to him to see him sobbing in the dugout like that.

I mean, I won't say their names, but it's looking really good for the rest of our prospects, right?
