I just saw on twitter that keller is going to Grayson cc in the fall. I guess he won't be a part of our class regardless of the draft.

Was hoping he could develop into a quality starter for us.

Really like his game.

Norman and Keller are 2 pitchers that I was looking forward to seeing next season.

Any word on if Norman will come back

So will Cabrera slide right into Deichmann's spot in RF next year?

And Storz looks like a potential power hitting 1B

I'm wondering what CPM is thinking about Storz. He's the prototypical 1B which we haven't had in a while BUT he also has SEC potential as a pitcher. I'd have to actually see CPM utilize a utility player.

I think Storz will pitch. Can't remember having a great hitting pitcher at LSU. His commitment article says he was recruited by Dunn and excited to learn from Dunn as a pitcher. A lot of these guys are 19 or almost 19. Seems to be more than usual 2 yr players this year. i would guess this also is the case for most teams now.

Storz will 100% pitch but don't be surprised if he's our DH also

So Doug Norman got drafted but hunter Newman did not? Am I missing something? Also what's the likelihood that pap is gone? At the beginning of the season I wasn't expecting that to be the case, but he's upped his game lately and the draft seems to reflect that. Good for him, but it'd be nice to have him back.

No idea why not one team won't give him a shot.

100%

-All of his friends are departing
-Drafted by an upcoming organization in Houston
-Signing bonus will be higher this year
-Catching position will be deeper next year

Having players continuously come in for 3 years and be drafted in the top 10 rounds is a very big sell for LSU.

Latz Transffered out of LSU after last year to Lemont and he did pitch there all year

I'm sure exactly where to start unraveling this nonsense.

Latz left after last season to go to Kent St, another D1 school. He sat out this season as required by the NCAA transfer rules.

Lemont is the high school that he and Papierski (and Ethan Pocic) attended. He did not transfer to Lemont from LSU and pitch for their team this year. I'm not 100% certain it's against Illinois High School rules for him to have done so, but I feel confident in saying that it is.

It may or may not have been discussed, but how many 2-year players do we have? I think Storz is one of them.

I know Cabrera can really rake at the plate....any chance he gets a look on the mound. He can touch 90, has a decent curveball and an above average change up. LSU needs arms from the left side. Use him only in situations when you need to get tough LH hitters out. Dude can pitch.
