Apparently they think LSU plays a soft conference schedule an never get tested during regular season

Quote jimbeav said:LSU has been red-hot. Would much rather face MSU, but it's looking like LSU is going to sweep (up 9-4 in the 5th right now). I'd rather face anybody else on the other side of the bracket than LSU. I'm thinking the finals could be anti-climactic if we get past them... GO BEAVS! I don't want to face LSU, either. That said, LSU has has a nice breeze through their portion of the bracket. Hosting some directional Louisiana schools in their regional and getting an MSU team that they already swept in conference play. I kind of expect them to turn out to be a paper tiger (!) in Omaha, just like Florida State turns out to be EVERY season. Those SE teams don't ever get TRULY tested during the regular season. They play their familiar conference schedule, then get everyone and anyone they want at home the rest of the season.

Shows how much he actually researched LSU. The "anyone they want at home" opponents gave us most of our losses. (or at least some)

someone should remind them that their SOS is somewhere in the 80s while we're 10

ETA: Warren Nolan updated SOS. 6 SEC teams in the top 10 for SOS. OSU at 83

ETA2: Our SOS is now at 11 instead of 10 thanks to UF losing

They beat the 6th best team in the SEC at home and they think the SEC is weak?

Oregon state has been to Omaha 6 times.
LSU has won it 6 times,

Btw, such an ironic mascot considering what their (former) ace pitcher was charged with.

Oregon St has played Holy Cross, Yale and Vanderbilt thus far. Just give them the trophy now.

and the PAC 10 sucked! only 4 teams made a regional and of those 4 1 made a super.

OSU also played a 4 game series with Abilene Christian to finish the season...yeh that is a tough 4 game series with a team with an rpi around 300

They played powerhouses like Yale, Holy Cross and Abilene Christian. Ohio State fricked them up one game like a 16 year old star pitcher ...

Yeah I'm not going there.

Didn't their star pitcher rape his little cousin when he was younger

That is a strangely biased statement considering OSU's schedule. They opened up with a tournament in Arizona, and the only non-conference game they played on the road was @ St Mary.

Then there regional is full of powerhouses in Yale, Holy Cross & Nebraska (who they already played twice).

The only true competition they faced was Stanford, who was beaten twice by CSF in their regional.
