No one takes you seriously Kevin

I'm super pumped about the US Open being at Erin Hills. It's my favorite tourney and this course looks incredible.

Not a problem if you keep it in the short grass. Not like he can win anyway.

That fescue does look really close to the first cut. Still this is from the same guy that put up a 16 at Valero because he drove two balls in the woods and decided to hack it out instead of reteeing. Hit it straight Na.

Jack Nicklaus said that if you go into a tournament worried about the conditions he's already got you beat. And Na is just a straight plain weirdo.

The Fesque trend is boring lazy golf design.. it's ok to fill in spots way off line and corners that could be cut with it but putting it right off the fairway and growing it that high is silly clown golf shite that turns on the USGA course teams..

I think in any rough you should at least be able to wedge it out and have a good chance at finding it. That rough looks unfair, 1-2 feet, long and thick as hell. Going to be really exciting and fast-paced watching guys having to walk back to re-tee for lost balls or even unplayables if there isn't another option. lets not forget the wrist injuries we are bound to see.

The US open has always been designed this way and many times even par after 3 is solid

I think it's a solid design. There are no trees or water to contend with so the winds and thick fescue is all the course has to defend itself. Plus it's a one of the longest courses they'll play. It'll be fun to watch.

We have had an extremely wet, cool, and humid spring here in this part of the country this year - something like the wettest spring in 100 years. It only turned warm about two weeks ago. I imagine the rough will be hell next week.

Erin Hills is a badass course. It rewards great shots and severely penalizes bad ones, just like a US Open course should.

Every year there some weak minded players like Kevin Na complaining about the greens being too fast or the rough being too high. Those guys never have a shot to win it because the course has already mentally beaten them.

BS. Most of the field, including top finishers, were bitching like crazy about Chambers Bay.

It is possible to go out and play your game and shoot well while knowing full well the USGA has fricked up another golf course.

I'm with him, I hate how the USGA always tries to make the course impossible. One of the reasons the Masters is so great is because you can go low on that course

Kevin Na is an attention seeking count.

That's the only thing that needs to be said in this thread.

So like just about every other course they play on tour. Might as well just watch the John Deere Classic.

Chambers Bay was different. They burnt that course out. Players had a right to bitch there.

Erin Hills has always had that fescue. It's nothing new. USGA didn't add it or make it any thicker.

Its easier for pga to have rough be rough than to change ball technology.

Augusta sucks for same reason.
Greens are bizarre fast.
