The concern, is that this bullshite, left propaganda will continue for 4 years and give congress an excuse to work even less then normal for 4 years and still get paid

Comey was asked this question and Comey said no, he does not think a president firing a FBI director would assume it would cease an investigation and it's independent from the Director's position.

The judge is only smarter than this if he says something that you agree with.
Also, whether the firing would have stopped the investigation or not is not the relevant question from the standpoint of judging Trump's actions. It's only whether Trump thought that the firing would impede the investigation.
It could be that Trump thought he could fire Comey and then appoint someone who would effectively end the investigation. That is a possibility.

I believe te law allowing congress to appoint a special prosecutor lapsed in1999. Mueller is not a special prosecutor. He is a special counsel or something like that.

Both have been weakened by this whole shite show. The Democrats overall have weakened Trump with this which was their plan from the start....they could not have cared less about Comey who looks weak in all of this and a grandstander.
I am not, however seeing any crimes committed by Trump. Tough to pin obstruction on him....almost impossible really. He did not lie on an affidavit, he did not commit perjury in a deposition, get people to give false statements or attempt to destroy or destroy evidence. He merely fired Comey which as Chief Exec he has every statutory right to do
