got caught on the W'ank Expressway.
I got one on either Gretna Blvd or Lapalco

And then I got one on Canal in mid city for.... wait for it.... 'Going too far under the posted speed limit'

The posted limit was like 15-25 or something and the van clocked me going around 12mph and sent me a damn ticket in the mail.

I've always wanted to invent a mechanism to hide a license plate. Press a button in the car and a flap covers the license plate while you drive past these cars or get on and off toll roads.

They already have those

Should've done one better and chunked the brick through the windshield...

My wife got burned on Leake... at the time there were no posted speed limit signs on Leake nor speed trap warning signs... She's fighting it...

This kind of law enforcement is like the schoolyard tattletale.

Man it must suck to live in a city where your government needs THAT kind of revenue to carry on daily business.

Thought about sniping out the ones in Lafayette but then I realized the risk to reward is just not worth it.

I see cars around NOLA with a somewhat opaque plastic cover over the license plate. Whenever I look one up to buy on the internet the sites look pretty sketchy. Anyone have one that works and where did you get it?

This is awesome. Honestly didn't know these damn things existed until this thread. We need law enforcement but this is flat out gay in the childish sense of the word.

they already have them. I had one on my last truck. The system was $250 and broke a few times.

I wish I still had my 95 Impala, the plate flipped down when you filled the gas. You could take the spring off and put an actuator in place.

My mom parked in a spot that was no parking but had no signs saying so and ws full of parked cars.
She got a ticket, sent in pictures of the lack of signs, and the info she had.

NOLA sent her a letter that said they are reviewing. A month later they send her a bill saying the fine doubled and she called and they said disregard.

Then a few weeks ago they sent her a letter saying she could be booted. She called and they said her window to fight the ticket had lapsed.

I convinced her of the "new plate clean slate" work around. frick paying camera tickets.

A better method is to remove the license plate and speed back and forth in front of it.

I read a story in a paper about ten years ago about a guy who did this. Even drove by with his passenger hanging their arse out of the window. Problem was, the guy was also trying to sell his car and forgot to erase the cell phone number he had written on the back window. Cops called him up to express their interest in buying the car, but issued an expensive ticket instead.

They put those speed enforcement vans in Livingston Parish a few years ago and the rednecks kept shooting them up. They finally pulled out after about the 4th or 5th time one got damaged

I heard after Aug 1st state law requires speed vans and cameras doing speed surveillance have to have signs posted so many feet from the camera.

Guy in Phoenix puts on a monkey mask before driving his RiceRocket. The monkey mask is at 37 tickets but he's told the coppers that they can't prove it's him actually driving.
