Do your part to send Marwin to Miami:

What do you think our chances are of obtaining sonny Gray from the A's? There's a chance he's available supposedly.

Just got lit up by the Indians, that's not what we need.

Everyone we're looking at has had a bad game this year. Quintana most of all.
Look at the rest of Gray's games and you'll see he's pitching well this year since he's come back from injury.
List is:
Archer
Quintana
Cole
Gray
IMO. In no order.

Let's find someone who routinely takes a dump on Cleveland. Lord knows we need someone like that

3 things to know about this game:
• The last time we saw Santiago was in relief Sunday, when he allowed back-to-back homers to Longoria and Morrison in the 15th inning against the Rays. Morrison's homer came against a sinker from Santiago, symbolizing a troubling trend from a pitcher who throws sinkers and two-seamers nearly 60 percent of the time. Santiago also gave up a homer off a sinker in his start two days before against Tampa Bay, and has allowed eight total round-trippers off those two pitches -- the most of any pitcher in baseball. Santiago also allowed the most homers off sinkers and two-seamers last year (23).
• Left-handed batters are hitting .515 (17-for-33) against Santiago this season. He has allowed five of his 10 homers to lefties, despite 152 more at-bats against right-handed hitters.
• Josh Reddick is batting .353 with a trio of RBIs in 17 career at-bats against Santiago. Jose Altuve has a .304 clip in 23 at-bats lifetime off the Minnesota hurler.

I want no part of Quintana

I think one of Detroit or Seattle will end up sellers at the deadline. I definitely wouldn't want Felix or Verlander over Cole or Archer but there are some interesting relievers esp on Detroit

Quintana has not looked good this season. Not at all.

Yea I don't want Quintana at all. Especially for not what they want

Has Ivan Nova continued to excel after his brilliant start in Pittsburgh?

I'd love to add Verlander if the price was right, but he's under contract for a few more years and might not have any interest in a trade regardless. He's not going anywhere unless he wants to move.
I think Jason Vargas is a guy that will be on the move, but similar to Ervin Santana (real name Johan, but he didn't want everyone to get confused) he's playing over his head right now. Even still, he'd be worth a cheap add.

Verlander is at 28M the next 3 years, not sure they want to pay that for an older guy. I'm curious about Cueto. He's only 17M over the next 3 years.

If SF doesn't bounce back it will be interesting to see what they do

I don't see the Giants as sellers unless it's someone whose contract is up this year. They won't likely get rid of a guy that can help them win in 2018 and 2019.
So.. maybe if you really want Matt Cain they'll talk.

Getting a little ahead of the schedule, but it looks like Friday's game in Arlington will be Darvish/Keuchel, which I'll be at.....and it's a fireworks game

I don't care who we add, as long as he's a Guduan.

But matchups! Reddick, McCann, Beltran are on the bench today.
